A-00023One Ashoka Tree for Landscaping
In the area around the Mahasiddha Sanctuary, adjacent to the reflecting pool, an internationally renowned landscape architect will recreate a natural landscape with Ashoka trees, name after the famous King Ashoka, who helped establish Buddhism in India. This restful and serene grove will be mirrored in the still surface of the reflecting pool.

A-00024One Seating Space in the Conference Hall
The conference hall will host events concerning world peace, human welfare, and Buddhism in the modern world. It is the wish of H.E. Shyalpa Tenzin Rinpoche to organize a World Buddhist Conference at the sanctuary. The hall will also be utilized for teachings, empowerments and other ceremonies.

The Sanctuary will have a nearly flawless white surface, symbolizing the purity of enlightenment. This is the one of the most ambitious aspects of the sanctuary’s design. Window Frame and Glass for 3-tiered Base
Around the three-tiered base of the sanctuary are windows framing the view of the sacred landscape. The windows are designed to keep out heat, cold and rain. The high quality metal window frame will be fitted with insulation and sun-protective glass.
