The Crowning Pinnacle
The pinnacle is the crowning jewel of the sanctuary. Made of pure gold, the pinnacle represents complete liberation and enlightenment. The conical shape symbolizes the 13 Bhumis or levels on the path to awakening. The spire above symbolizes the five elements and the five wisdoms. The pinnacle is circular, facing the four cardinal directions of north, east, south and west, and it exemplifies the vision of the Mahasiddha Sanctuary as a universal beacon of peace.
