Inspired by a lotus flower — the universal symbol of peace — Shyalpa Rinpoche was able to actualise his vision for the design of this spectacular building with the expertise of world renowned architect, Stephan Braunfels, as well as an international team of engineers, architects and designers.
People from all over the world will be able to visit and experience teachings of wisdom tradition from spiritual leaders, indigenous elders and brilliant thinkers, helping to bridge cultural divides, connect with each other and explore the true meaning of a peaceful co-existence with all sentient beings.
Up to 1,500 people will be able to gather in the state-of-the-art Grand Auditorium for world class events. Conferences and forums on critical issues, meditation and teachings on enlightenment where people will learn how to embody inner peace, alongside concerts and symposiums with international artists will inspire and connect people through music, art and performance.
This will be a place for peaceful learning, where people can grow and evolve in their inner wisdom. The library will house texts from all lineages, with teachings and commentaries on universal value of peace.
This sanctuary will house a curated collection of precious artifacts from past centuries, alongside modern works by contemporary artists commissioned to create new art inspired by the concept of universal peace.
