Universal Peace Sanctuary in The Sandbox Metaverse

We are thrilled to share some thrilling news about the Universal Peace Sanctuary project! Animoca Brands, The Sandbox, and Smobler have come together to create an immersive digital experience in the open metaverse. This partnership will bring to life the vision of the Universal Peace Sanctuary, through the medium of a virtual space dedicated to promoting peace, unity, and cultural understanding across the globe.

The Vision
Inspired by His Eminence Shyalpa Rinpoche, the Universal Peace Sanctuary metaverse experience will serve as a virtual hub where people from all walks of life can come together to tour interactive experiences aimed at fostering global harmony. This project promotes peace by embarking on quests that delve into the symbolic elements of the Peace Sanctuary space and guide you with the spiritual teachings toward finding world peace through inner peace.

What to Expect
Set within the vast digital world of The Sandbox metaverse, the Universal Peace Sanctuary: The Eternal Quest for Peace will provide an immersive, educational, and inspiring journey for players of all ages. You'll be able to navigate through this digital monument, gaining insights into the importance of inner peace as a foundation for world peace. Every step along the way will reveal new lessons in tolerance, cooperation, and reconciliation.

An Innovative Partnership
Yat Siu, co-founder of Animoca Brands, expressed his excitement for this collaboration, highlighting the potential of Web3 technology to create inclusive, harmonious spaces. This project is a testament to the power of the metaverse in driving meaningful engagement and inspiring positive change. Sebastien Borget, Co-Founder and COO of The Sandbox, supported the project for its ability to let players discover and interact with a virtual monument that will be constructed in the future, blending the physical and digital worlds. He hopes players will use their avatars to learn about different cultures, engage with others, and embrace a message of peace while contributing through various events in the metaverse, even as the real monument is being built.

While the physical monument is still in development, you can now participate in events and activities in the virtual world. How to join our digital quest:
   1. Head over to The Sandbox Metaverse and create an account.
   2. After you set-up an account, hover over the left tab and click on “Experiences”
   3. Once you land on the Experience page, type in the search bar “The Universal Peace Sanctuary”
   4. Click on the experience and press the “play” button. Then download the Sandbox Launcher.
   5. Last step, venture into the digital land of the Peace Sanctuary and get closer to the vision than ever before.
